THE COURT ALTERNATIVE • MANDATORY MEDIATION IN ESTATE MEDIATION

  • Estate Mediation allows the parties to settle their disputes  and come to mutual resolutions  in a relatively short period of time with a neutral mediator.  If you have an estate litigation lawyer he or she should also be present along  with all parties. 
  • You will save  a lot of time and money with regards to further  litigation costs.
  •  Many  matters can be settled in one or two days and  additional followup, instead of  years and undue stress in court.
  • Mediation in Toronto and many major cities is now mandatory for cases in court, and it can also be the perfect solution for you for  estate matters that have not yet gone to court.

Maureen Smith is a highly experienced compassionate senior mediator, arbitrator,  certified in Estate & Trust Administration, Common Law and can help you with mediation of all estate matters including will challenges, executor and trustee disputes, passing of accounts, and property settlements.  Additionally, she served on the  Toronto, Superior Court of Justice Court Roster and has mediated several court cases for Mandatory Mediation to reach settlements, in addition to settling many cases outside of court.
